Overview

According to the Hindu Belief, Char Dham- yatra (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath) is one of the most sacred pilgrimage. Yamunotri : The shrine of Yamunotri, dedicated River Yamuna is situated at an elevation of about 3,235 mts. is a point of paramount religious importance for Hindus and an essential pilgrimage. yamuna originates from saptharshikund above yamunotri about 14 km. Gangotri: The shrine of Gangotri is situated at an elevation of 3048 mts. Dedicated to River Ganga (Bagirathi) amidst captivating surroundings. Bagirathi originates from Gamukh which is about 12 km from gangotri. Kedarnath: An imposing sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow covered peaks. The present temple, built in 8th centuary A.D. by Adi Shankaracharya, Dedicated to Lord Shiva, A conical rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. Badrinath: Guarded on either side by the two mountains Nar and Narayan, the Neelkanth Peak provides a splendid backdrop to Badrinath, one of the ‘Four Dhams’. One of the most celebrated pilgrim spots in the country, it plays host to the famous Badrinath Temple. The Char Dham Yatra shall be visited from Left to Right – beginning from Yamunotri, going to Gangotri, Kedarnath and culminating the yatra at Badrinath. This route follows the Hindu tradition of parikrama or clockwise circumambulation

Day 01 : Arrive at Delhi. Day at Leisure.
Day 02 : Delhi to Haridwar (292M) ~ 202 km by Road.
Day 03 : Haridwar to Hanuman Chatti / Janki Chatti (2650M) ~ 195 km by Road.
Day 04 : to Yamunotri (3185M) and back ~ 20 kms by Road and 10 km Trek.
Day 05 : Hanuman Chatti/Janki Chatti to Uttarkashi (1158M) ~ 190 km by Road.
Day 06 : Uttarkashi to Gangotri (3048M) and back to Uttarkashi ~ 200 km by Road.
Day 07 : Uttarkashi to Gaurikund (1981M) ~ 235 km by Road.
Day 08 : Gaurikund to Kedarnath (3584M) ~ 14 km Trek.
Day 09 : Kedarnath to Gaurikund / Ukhimath / Chopta (2700M) ~ 14 km Trek and 60 km by Road.
Day 10 : Chopta to Badrinath (3100M) ~ 160 kms by Road.
Day 11 : Badrinath / Mana Village to Joshimath ~ 48 kms by Road.
Day 12 : Joshimath to Rishikesh (348M) ~ 253 kms by Road.
Day 13 : Rishikesh to Delhi ~ 225 kms by Road.
