Sar pass is one of the most popular trails in the Shivalik range.Sar valley overlooks the scenic Parvati valley.It abounds in natural beauty with snow clad mountains, perrinial rivulets ,water falls, and picturesque lush green forests.It is beckoning for any soul that seeks adventure and serenity in the same breath.Kasol is the base camp for this trek.It is a lovely place, with its temperate climate and beautiful, elegant pine forests.The first camp is at Guna pani.It is surrounded by snow clad mountains. It resembles much the beauty of molten gold in the first and last beams of sunlight. It is truely breath taking to watch the sunset or sunrise from this point.Second camp is at Fual Pani.On the way, you shall cross lovely meadows, serene and classic in it's beauty.The third camp is at Zirmi.It is as picturesque as its predecessors.After crossing this camp, the ascent becomes much steeper than before. Slow and steady pace of walking is advisable as it assures good acclimatization.After this comes Tilalotni, which is the last camp before reaching Sar pass.After a long ardorous trek, behold the sight that Sar pass is.It is truely spectacular in it's beauty, and is maybe what heaven would look like had it been on earth.After having your fill of it's wonderous beauty, descend down through biskeri and bhandak thach, and finally get back to civilization.
