Overview

Picturesque Valley called Sunderdhunga, is a less trodden trial in western kumaon region of the Uttaranchal Himalaya. In Kumaoni dialect the word Sunderdhunga means “Valley of beautiful stones”, And one look at the valley brings out the sheer appropriateness to this descriptive name! Perched at an altitude of 14,500ft, surrounded by snow capped peaks scattered in a semi circle Is the crystal clear lake Devi Kund (the abode of Devi), is spectacle sight to behold!. The path itself is Kaleidioscope of colours with variety of wild flowers, alluring waterfalls and enigmatic views of mountains viz., Maiktoli,Mrigthuni,Nandakot, simshara mountain rangesfrom close quarters.
Camping on the green thatch overlooking valley surrounded by pine trees.Excellent views of Sunderdhunga, Pindari and Khafni valleys. chance to rejoice the hill folk’s living, culture, tradition and attire in general are other attractions of this trek. Day 01 : Arrive at Delhi. Proceed to Kathgodam
         Overnight by Train
Day 02 : Arrive at Kathgodam to song ~ 280Km by Road.
Day 03 : Song - Dhakuri(8,800 Ft.) ~ 8 km Trek.
Day 04 : Dhakuri - Jatoli(8200 Ft.) ~ 10 km Trek.
Day 05 : Jatoli - Kathelia ~ 8 km Trek.
Day 06 : Kathelia - Devikund ( 14,500 Ft) ~ 8 Km Trek
Day 07 : Devikund - Nagkund - Devikund ~ 12 Km Trek
Day 08 : Devikund - Kathelia ~ 8 km Trek.
Day 10 : Kathelia -Jatoli ~ 8 km Trek.
Day 11 : Jatoli - Dhakuri ~ 10 km Trek.
Day 12 : Dhakuri - Song ~ 8 km Reach Kathgodham by road ~ 80 Km by Road,
