Muktihole is a lovely, cascading waterfall situated in the heart of the dense forests in Western Ghats. There are motorable roads up till Hirebailu which is accessible by bus from Hadinabala. From Hirebailu, get set for a strenuous trek up till the falls. The path is muddy and is for the most part covered with thick undergrowth. Most likely chances of getting lost but do not fear, because there is some thrill in that too. You do have to loose your way first to find it again….sometimes! The falls provide the perfect site for camping overnight, and the cascading rows of white thunderous water simply takes your breath away. The night skies are crystal clear in these parts, and we arrange for star gazing sessions for those interested in the constellations and planets. There is also ample opportunity to indulge in your wild side by going rock climbing in these parts. There are innumerable natural pools of fresh mountain water here, to go for a leisure swim, whenever you want. Muktihole, in short is a trekker’s paradise and is a truly exhilarating experience by itself!
