This wonderful trek starts from Lambar in Kinnaur of Himachal Pradesh. This route circuits the revered Kinnaur Kailash mountain through Charang ghati pass. Kinnaur was forbidden to trekkers till a few years ago. Consequently these trails have been less used and pristine. The Kinnaur Kailash Range borders the Disctrict of Kinnaur in the south and is dominated by the Kinnaur Kailash (6349 Mts) and Jonkarden (6473 Mts) peaks. The only pass on this trek is the Charang La (Pass) at an awesome altitude of 5300 Mts above sea level .The trek is challenging and also rewarding for experienced and new trekkers alike. kinnaur is one of the few landscapes makes one forget himself in lap of mother nature. With beautiful gorges, alluring water falls, awesome mountain peaks, mesmerizing flora / Fauna. Above all View of kailash will leave one spellbound by its sheer beauty!. Ending of first trial is by crossing to Chitkul the last village in the Baspa valley, winding through green pastures, is quite cool village, commanding startling mountain views
The next part continues to Lamkhaga Pass, situated at an altitude of about 5,284 m, is in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. The pass divides Garhwal region from Himachal. The way leading to the pass is scenic with forests, lakes, and a variety of flowers and anemones. The pass ends at Harsil, near Gangotri on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. where Ganganani hotsprings are waiting to massage your tired nerves with her cozy hot water.
