Hi-Tec Eurowalk Walking Boot

In autumn Hi-tec have launched the new Eurowalk Mid hiking boot onto the UK outdoor market. It is keenly priced for a mid range lightweight walking boot and comprises the successful v-lite technology.

This nubuck leather walking boot uses the Tecproof membrane. This is a waterproof and breathable system giving the end user high protection in the wettest of environments and exceptional vapour transmission.

This newly launched waterproof and breathable hiking boot is constructed using the five layer vertical build system. It has the lightest upper leather material which makes for an extremely durable boot designed for the harshest of elements. The comfort-tec footbed is made from a high quality foam with shock absorption points on the parts of the foot which are under most pressure and stress when walking long distances. The third layer is the stabila flex lasting board made from recycled plastics, which gives the outdoor enthusiast superior rigidity without the weight. The lasting board constructed at various densities still allows the foot to move with ease. The next layer is the lightweight midsole also helping to shock absorb. The outsole is lightweight but with good traction, angled to allow the walker to maintain the same grip when ascending or descending a hill.

With all this technology, this practical hiking boot definitely gives the all day walker more comfort without the expensive price tag. The Eurowalk Mid waterproof boot looks very similar to the Hi-tec Quebec waterproof walking boot which retails at the same price however does not have the v-lite technology. This boot would be suitable for everyone from the dog walker to the Duke of Edinburgh expeditioner and the hill walker.
